By george tahan I've read a few seed saving books recently, but I have to admit most of them just skimmed over information or theinformation they did contain I could find easier and quicker with a simple google search. However this book was alittle different. It actually went into details and I learned things about seeds I had no idea about.It's amazing to me that so many people have lost the simple skills to save seeds. This practice is what sustained humanity for millions of years. But unfortuneayly in the last 200 years we as humans have taken a turn for the worst. We need to get back to our roots. 4 stars for sure. All in all, this is a very informative book.

By Stephanie R Bringing back the simple skills that every human should possess, Heirloom Seeds goes into detail about the types of seeds and their basic planting information. After reading this, my husband and I decided to give it a try. My grandfather, who had frozen a ton of seeds YEARS before, pulled out what he thought was going to be the end of his hobby. Using the information from the book, we were able to start seeing growth in just over a week. The skills offered in this book would be paramount in a survival situation. Learning to self sustain in today's world is a rare treat. I loved this book and will definitely recommend it to others.
