Unfortunately the patterns are quite off. Scale isn't right on many, instruction incorrect on many. I would not recommend it unless you were an advanced knitter and could understand, while you are knitting, where the errors would be and are able to correct as you go. I'd claim myself as an advance knitter but still had issues.

While I am a novice knitter and working on knitting the arms, I noticed that there are some math errors on the pattern that totally threw me off (page 60). I have 22 stitches on the needle currently and it says "Decrease for top of arm. Next Row: K2tog at each end of row (14sts).To me, if I started out with 22 on my needle, knitting 2together ONLY at each end would produce the next row with 20 stitches, not 14.It's at the top of the arm which will be covered up and I just wrote down what I did so when i do the other arm it'll match.Hope it works out, it s part of a gift for a wedding we'll be attending. Id love to have the modified instructions.

Have not tried knitting yet but feel I will be able to without much problems. The book is very nice and explains everything that even a beginner such as myself should be able to complete.
