By kmhorgan DeVos does it again, but there's a unique aspect... a Revolutionary War battle that is little known but arguably as pivotal as Washington's attack on Trenton. His research is thorough and translates into characters you want to see succeed. The climactic battle scene is worthy of the tension built by the convergence of men with many motivations: a fledgling nation, the British Empire, the status quo. Revenge is a large component of the moral lessons drawn here, and DeVos does not let the reader down. King's Mountain just outside of Charlotte will be my next historical site visit! Well done, sir.
