I was lucky enough to attend a class that Jane Davidson taught for the block in her Rock Pools quilt. Everyone in the class was so excited to complete their Dresden petals and each quilt was so unique with the various fabric choices. The photos in the book are spectacular! The pattern instructions are easy to read and understand!

The 10 quilts demonstrate Australian creativity at its best, with a range of styles and skill levels. The instructions are very well laid out and even the beginner quilter will easily achieve a lovely result. The 'on location' photos are fun, and the entire publication is a pleasure to leaf through and read. A book you should have on your shelf!

Such talented designers with many original ideas, and beautifully presented. I especially love Rock Pool and Opal Essence.
